WE BUY BOOKS

It is fairly safe to say that people sell more used books to Always Buying Books than to any other bookstore in the area. We actively pursue quality used, antiquarian and scholarly books. We also buy rep samples, library de-accessions and donations, academic collections, bookstore inventories and, of cource, private libraries from all over the Four State area - all in addition to the hundreds of used books we buy directly over the counter everyday in our store.

WHAT WE PAY FOR USED BOOKS

We buy books we feel we can resell, offering approximately 25% (in cash) of the price we expect to realize for the books, or store credit.  This price is based upon desirability, market value, in-print price, condition and our current stock levels.

If your collection is large enough (a bookstore inventory or large private collection), we may be able to send a buyer directly to you. We have highly skilled and reputable buyers, experienced in working with sellers wishing to sell. We will make you an equitable offer for the books, and if you accept, we?ll give you cash or reimburse you with a store credit.

Q: Bob, How many books do you take in?

Bob: In any given week about 2000.

Bob: Yes, with no expiration and no complicated ratios to buy books.
